Brett Beta Block Paved Driveway in Lincoln

At ALS Driveways Lincoln, we design and install block paved driveways in Lincoln and the surrounding areas. Over the years, we’ve had plenty of happy customers – here’s the story of one.

What was the problem?

This was the original driveway, installed in the 70's when the bungalow was first built.

It was a gravel and concrete driveway, and the driveway was in bad repair. It had cracks, although patches had been added over the years.

Because the property was low lying, the driveway also had extensive drainage issues and was prone to flooding.

What did we do?

Our driveway team dug out all the gravelled areas, the existing lawn and driveway.

We installed a large soakaway in the garden, which was connected to new Aco channels in the threshold along the front. We then installed the block pavers to the design Addam and the customer had planned.

To solve the old drainage problems, we ensured the falls were correct to British Standards and led to the Aco channels. We also connected all the downpipes from the gutters to the new soakaway as previously they were blocked and not functioning.

The pavers installed are Beta block pavers in Autumn Gold with Omega charcoal block pavers as a border.

This driveway was entered into the Brett Awards 2019 and won Best Runner Up!

Once the project is completed, we register it on the Brett website, and all the information is sent to the homeowner. Every driveway and patio we install is completed to the correct British Standards. This gives our clients the all important peace of mind that their work is fully guaranteed.
